The New England Patriots are officially teaming up with Aristocrat Gaming.
The multi-year partnership gives Aristocrat, which builds NFL-themed slot machines, prominent signage at Gillette Stadium year-round, as well as in-game branding, promotion, and game-day activations. Aristocrat recently announced a deal with the NFL to build land-based slot machines that allow gamblers to play games based on their favorite teams.
“We are ecstatic to partner with the New England Patriots, one of the most successful and legendary franchises in the NFL,” Hector Fernandez, CEO of Aristocrat Gaming, said in a statement. “We look forward to bringing our NFL-themed slot games to casinos across Massachusetts, providing an opportunity for passionate Patriots fans to experience their favorite team in new and exciting ways.”
Details concerning the length and financial value of the deal were not divulged by the company.
Legal sports gambling launches soon
Last month, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker signed a law to allow over a dozen different sports betting apps and in-person wagering at the state’s three casinos, one of which is slots-only. Launch is expected in late 2022 or early 2023.
“The Patriots and Gillette Stadium are excited to partner with Aristocrat Gaming and explore many new opportunities to engage with our fans,” Murray Kohl, vice president of corporate sponsorships at Kraft Sports, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to work with their innovative team on multiple activation and branding opportunities at Gillette Stadium throughout the Patriots’ season, as well as have the Patriots branding featured on their slot machines nationwide.”
