MaximBet may be the new kid on the block, but its premier online sports betting site deserves attention. Operating under the blanket of the Carousel Group, MaximBet is set to become a household name in this growing U.S. industry. The sportsbook went live online in September 2020 (operating as Sportsbetting.com) in the state of Colorado. It has announced plans to expand to additional states, including Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, and New Jersey.

100% up to $1000 deposit match bonus
The welcome promotion over at MaximBet consists of a 100% deposit match bonus up to $1000 in the form of free bet credits. Rather than giving the entire bonus all at once, this offer is broken down into four separate parts that players will be required to complete in order to take advantage of the full promotion:
The first of four possible deposit matches will be worth up to $500. In order to participate, eligible players must make an initial deposit of at least $10. If a player deposits $500, they will receive a $500 match in the form of free bet credits. If they deposit the full $1000, they will still only receive $500 to start off. Players will need to wager at least 1x through their initial deposit before becoming eligible for their next deposit match.
The second deposit match must be completed within 8-14 days after the initial deposit, and will be worth up to $250 in free bet credits. Deposit $250, get $250 in free bet credits. Now you’re up to $750 total.
The third deposit match will be worth up to $125 and must be completed anytime between 15-21 days after the first deposit. Deposit $125, get $125. Up to $875.
The fourth and final match will also be worth $125 and must be made 22-28 days after the initial match. If done correctly, the four deposit matches will result in a total of $1000 in free bet credits by the end of the promotion.
Players must wager through the full deposit and bonus amount at least once in order for any funds to become available for withdrawal. Any and all free bet credits will be distributed within 72 hours of the deposit and will only pay out the winnings, not the stake, on any bets that cash. Right now MaximBet is a one-hit wonder, but don’t expect it to stay that way for very long. MaximBet has streamlined its registration process so that users can get set up to bet in just a few minutes.
Eligibility requirements
Everybody who can pass both the age and location tests is eligible to bet with MaximBet. Age wise, you can’t sign up or place a bet unless you are at least 21. There are a small handful of states that have set their legal sports betting age at just 18, but MaximBet isn’t available in those areas. 21 is the key number to remember here.

Performance wise there’s little to complain about. The site runs on its own in-house technology. It’s easy to place a wager, contact support, browse lines, and even place bets on live games.

The mobile app presents very similarly to the desktop site in appearance and function. It conveniently places all of the major, current markets front and center so they aren’t hard to find. The app also does well to make sure its promotions are seen.

MaximBet does have a loyalty program, and a pretty good one at that. For every dollar you bet, you get a certain number of points based on the bet type. Additionally, each new deposit earns 50 points per $1 deposited. For every 1000 points earned, you get $1 in free bet credits. That may not seem like much, but those points can add up quickly and free credits are always a good thing.
There are additional valuable promotions besides the loyalty program. By visiting the ‘Promotions’ area you can see the current offers that can be used to gain a little bit of an edge. On top of the welcome bonus, MaximBet has offered limited time promos where if you place a specific bet type, they’ll award you with a bonus. For example, engaging in in-play wagering or betting a parlay may earn you a little something extra. They regularly have deals for various types of bet insurance, too.
Help with MaximBet
In our experiences we found MaximBet to be quite accommodating when it came to customer support. The easiest way to access it is to click the ’24×7 Chat’ button located in the top left corner of the sportsbook. It will initiate a pop up menu that appears from the bottom of the screen where you can engage with the site via:
- Phone – You’ll be asked to submit your name and phone number and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
- Live Chat – When selecting this choice the support box you already have open will morph into a chat window with a real, living support agent. Queues have been virtually non existent in our experience, meaning you’ll get help fast.
- Leave a message – It’s called “leave a message”, but it’s basically just email. Provide your email address and type out your question and MaximBet support will email you back with an answer.
